Ogres are race of hulking brutes with big muscles, strong bones, and thick hides. They are simple-minded, superstitious, inarticulate, boorish, and easily manipulated by fast-talkers or shiny things. Fortunately, species-wide extinction due to overwhelming stupidity has been avoided, due to their women being competent decision makers, with better intellect and intuition. Female Ogres can almost pass for human. Ogres are often affiliated with (and/or managed by) Dark Elves, Goblins, or Orcs.

Dark Elves are a sinister and ambitious people that have a talent for the subterfuge and black magic. Above all else, Dark Elves crave control; and are skilled at manipulating others through seduction, bribery, trickery, blackmail, mind-control, intimidation, and legislation. Dark Elves are perpetual schemers, and are always plotting on how to gain more control. Often, one or more families of Dark Elves will be leading a settlement Orcs, Ogres, or Goblins.

Goblins are a sly and covetous race that value wealth, and seem to have an uncanny understanding economics. Goblin society is highly organized and strictly regulated in bureaucratic guilds that oversee the production and distribution of goods and services. Goblins are quick to spot a profit, and are willing to cut corners to reduce costs (if they can get away with it). Guild internal affairs will harshly punish any Goblin that willingly breaks any of the Guild's rules, which causes most Goblins to value the law of the Guild over the law of the land. Goblins have spent most of their early history being bullied by the much larger Orcs; and now that the Goblins have an economic and technological advantage over them, they gleefully provide their services as merchants and managers.

Leprechauns are a merry and whimsical race of little people with a love for practical jokes, celebrations, and strong drink. Leprechauns have a fondness for whiskey and wit, and have a plentiful supply of both. Every time a Leprechaun learns a new trick, skill, joke, or spell, he or she inscribes the details on to a personalized golden disc, making the crock of gold a sort of diary. Leprechauns are friendly company in any social event, with plenty of story-telling, fiddle-playing, singing, laughing, dancing, and lots of drinking. For the most part, Leprechauns get along quite well with Dwarves, Halflings, and Gnomes.
